Invest in Africa is offering local suppliers across sectors in Ghana the opportunity to join its African Partner Pool (APP), an independent business directory that will showcase local businesses to potential international investors; giving them greater access to skills, markets and finance.
The businesses that wish to register in the directory must have experience of working in Ghana and should operate in one of the following key sectors: telecommunications, agribusiness, financial services, extractives or infrastruture. The companies will be vetted and interviewed by an independent agency that will assess the organisational structure, expertise and viability for investment of each business.
The Invest in Africa partners, including Tullow Oil, EY, Ecobank and Lonrho will work with the businesses that are profiled on the APP and give them access to training and skills that will make them more attractive to potential investors.
Companies looking to invest in Ghana will then be able to easily view which companies are right for their business needs and which have the required international standards to make them credible for investment. These companies will not just be investing funds but partnering with the businesses they work with in order to develop their physical presence in Ghana.
